| John Grenfell, III is a third generation pastor whose father and grandfather
also served in the Detroit Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. Having pursued his interests in history and political science at
Northern Michigan University, John went on to secure his Masters and Doctorate
at Asbury Theological Seminary, where he was a Beeson Scholar in residence with
the Beeson International Center of Biblical Preaching and Church Leadership.
Prior to coming to Plymouth, John has served in Belleville, Menominee,
and initiated a church start in Grand Marais, MI. In time, the Grand Marais
church was yoked with the United Methodist church in Germfask as a two-point
charge.
John is the proud father of Kathleen, 17, Laura, 16, and John IV, 14
