Where do my kids go on Sunday Morning?

Your children will join you in worship services at both 9 and 11:15 a.m.  For 9 a.m. worship, after the children's message, you may choose to have your children go to Sunday School (for 4 and 5 year olds) or Junior Church (Kindergarten-fourth grades).  Your children ages 3 and under can go directly to their classes or to the nursery.  At 11:15 a.m. service, your children will join you for the entire service.

Where do my children go during the Sunday School Hour? (at 10:15 a.m.)

Children ages 5 and under go directly to their Sunday School rooms.  Children grades kindergarten-fourth grade go to the Choir Room for a large group teaching time, followed by a smaller class time in their classrooms.  Area 56 (5th and 6th graders) go directly to their classroom.

What kinds of things will my child be doing while I am attending the worship service?
Each Sunday morning kids will participate in music, Bible lessons, and other activities that center around a theme for the morning. One week we may be learning about Moses and the exodus for Egypt or about the creation of the world.

Can my kids sit with me in the worship service?

Yes feel free to bring your kids to the worship service with you.

My kids have never been to church before, will they feel left out because they have not been at church?

No. We want our church to be a welcoming and comfortable place for everyone who attends. So we make an intentional effort not to base the activities/programs we do on being here in the past. We want new families to feel welcomed at our church.

Do you have anything for kids during the week?

Yes, during the school year we have a midweek program for those in grade 6 and below called Livewires. Livewires features a small group Bible journaling time which give kids a chance to get to know others as well as develop a stronger personal faith with Jesus Christ.

My Questions was not answered on this page what should I do?

Feel free to email or call me anytime and I will be happy to answer any of your questions. You can email me (Abby) by clicking here or call me at the church (734-453-5280).
