CROP WalkSponsored by Church World Service, this walk is held annually to raise funds and awareness for hunger relief around the world. CROP Walk is on the second weekend in October each year, and is usually in Plymouth. This past October, 2006, we raised $6,350, of which 25% will go locally to the Salvation Army. There were 57 walkers from the community, which represented six churches. Plymouth First again led the group of churches and Deanna individually raised the most money in the community. We are hoping to get more walkers next year from Plymouth First and maybe we could have our youth challenge others.
