Habitat for Humanity

First Church was one of 12 churches collaborating with Habitat for Humanity of Western Wayne County to build a new home in Inkster in the Fall of 2006. The cost of building materials was approximately $72,000. Each of the 12 churches which participated in the project committed to provide $6,000 and labor to complete the building process.
