Salvation ArmyCollection of non-perishable food items, every Sunday of the month, for distribution to the Plymouth Community. Wayne Wheelock During the 2007 Christmas season we will have the opportunity to assist The Salvation Army and its Adopt a Family program. Five families will be shared with us, 2 large (4 or more children) and 3 small (3 or less children), and individuals, families, community groups, Bible Study classes, Sunday School classes or Youth groups can "adopt" one of these families and proved a Merry Christmas. As well as gifts for the children, we are also asked to supply Christmas dinner, with the list of groceries provided. Please consider adopting a family or sharing a family with another group or class. I will have the information for you in Fellowship hall and will answer any of your questions. The particular families will be assigned to our church by the middle of November. Please pray about this and open your hearts to some of our neediest neighbors this Christmas. Debbie Single |
