Adult Choirs

The Chancel Choir, directed by Marcia Van Oyen, is a mixed group of older students and adults of all ages. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays, 7:30 - 9:00 pm, and the choir sings each Sunday for the 9:00 am service, September through May, and occasionally for the 11:15 service as well. Sunday morning warm-up/rehearsal begins promptly at 8:30 to prepare for the 9:00 service. Repertoire is an eclectic mix of classical music, hymn arrangements, spirituals and gospel music.  This year the Chancel Choir will join with other Plymouth church choirs to present a Thanksgiving Choir Festival in November, and will sing Robert Ray's Gospel Mass with the Plymouth Oratorio Society in the spring.  The Chancel choir also goes on occasional tours.  Click here for the current Chancel Choir schedule.

Revelation is an informal group of singers and instrumentalists that provide music for the 11:15 worship service about once a month. Singers are invited to come at 10:20 to learn an easy song to present for the offertory that day. Instrumentalists are needed to accompany this group from time to time depending on the repertoire selected. For more information, contact Marcia Van Oyen.
